This year’s JUSTICE Human Rights Conference takes place on 6 October 2023, at Linklaters LLP and online. This year’s conference will include breakout sessions on judicial review, crime, inquests and inquiries, public order and protest, social welfare, and immigration and asylum. Speakers include: Deputy High Court Judge Margaret Obi, Max Hill KC, Director of Public Prosecutions for England and Wales, Stephanie Harrison KC, Vicky Tennant, the UNHCR Representative to the United Kingdom, Julian Ghosh KC, and Richard Ratcliffe, who will be discussing his six year campaign to free Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe from prison in Iran. You will also have the opportunity to see two former Lord Chancellors go head-to-head in their closing debate (chaired by I. Stephanie Boyce), which will look at upcoming party manifestos in relation to human rights.
