Summary:
Northern Ireland law, post-Brexit, presents an intriguing legal landscape, with the Ireland-Northern Ireland Protocol, now the Windsor Agreement, interacting awkwardly with the devolution settlement, the Belfast-Good Friday Agreement, the Retained EU Law (Revocation & Reform) Act 2023, EU law, the absence of the Assembly and Executive, and the British Constitution, to create a legal complexity which looks set to continue. The aim of this talk, perhaps optimistically, is to provide a road map for those who must navigate the terrain.
