ALBA and the Public Law Solicitors’ Association (PULSA) are holding a joint event on the evening of Tuesday 23rd September, to discuss the implications for the rule of law of the Trump administration’s executive actions, particularly action that has been taken in relation to law firms.
The speakers will be Corey Stoughton of Selendy Gay PLLC, formerly of Liberty and former senior counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the US Department of Justice; Joanna Ludlam of Jenner & Block LLP, a firm with direct experience of these matters; and Dr Joshua Andresen, an associate professor at the University of Surrey Law School and a former Senior Policy Advisor at the US Department of the Treasury and Attorney-Adviser at the US Department of State. The event will be chaired by Sophie Kemp of Kingsley Napley.
The event will take place at the offices of Kingsley Napley (20 Bonhill Street, London EC2A 4DN). Registration will open at 5:30 pm, the event will start at 6 pm, and it will be followed by drinks. We are extremely grateful to Kingsley Napley for their generosity in hosting this event.
