- The Pro Bono Recognition List of England & Wales
The Pro Bono Recognition List, published annually under the Attorney General’s Pro Bono Committee, celebrates barristers and solicitors who have contributed 25+ hours of pro bono work in the past year. This April, the second ever Pro Bono Recognition List was published with 4,874 individuals recognised, 642 of whom are barristers. This was an excellent 33% increase in Bar submissions from the previous year. More barristers are encouraged to submit their contributions for future lists – find out more and see this year’s Recognition List.
- Pupil Pledge 2025
Advocate invites all second six pupils to pledge to undertake one piece of pro bono work during their second six. Pro bono work can be a brilliant way for pupils to gain experience and broaden their practice. Upon completion, pupils will be awarded a celebratory Pupil Pledge logo for their Chambers website and email signature, and have their contribution promoted on Advocate’s social media channels. Find out more and also see the handy gude to pro bono for Pupils and Pupil Supervisors.
