The moot court will bring together barristers, judges, law students, Friends of Cumberland Lodge and members of the public, in person or online – all are welcome to attend. It takes place in memory of Sir John Laws, who had a distinguished legal and academic career, and served as a Visitor at Cumberland Lodge from 2003 until his death in 2020.
Joining the Court of Appeal will be:

- Two representatives from Big Voice London, the social mobility charity, supporting students from non-fee paying schools to explore the UK legal system.
