ALBA is again running its popular “Introduction to Judicial Review” seminar series weekly throughout October. The series is intended to be an introductory course, and is ideally suited to junior public law practitioners, and experienced barristers interested in learning about the procedure and practice of judicial review. The seminars will be as follows, all running from 18.30 to 19.45: 1 October: Preliminary procedural issues 8 October: Preparing a case for judicial review 21 October: Permission applications and responses 28 October: The substantive hearing All seminars will be led by experienced and knowledgeable practitioners and chaired by Martin Westgate QC, who is also organising the seminars. The seminars are being held at the Video Conferencing Studio, Bar Council, 289-293 High Holborn, London WC1V 7HZ. Each seminar will attract 1 BSB CPD point (i.e. 4 for the series).
