Lincoln’s Inn runs a Women’s Forum at least once a year to both celebrate and support the achievements of women at the Bar. This year, in honour of the 100 year anniversary of the Sex Disqualification (Removal) act, they will be hosting four evening events. The first of these in entitled ‘Gwyneth Bebb: A Historical perspective’ and will focus on the fight for women to have the right to pursue a legal career. There will be talks by the president of the St Hugh’s alumni Society, Veronica Lowe, and noted historian Jane Robinson.

Time: The talk will start at 6 pm in the old Hall and will be followed by a drinks reception from 7 pm to 8.30 pm.
