This series is intended to be an introductory course, and is ideally suited to pupils, junior public law practitioners, or experienced barristers interested in learning about the procedure and practice of judicial review. It also serves as an update for any procedural developments in the past year.

All seminars will be led by experienced and knowledgeable practitioners.

  • Thursday 28th November 2019 – Preliminary procedural issues – Tim Buley QC (Landmark Chambers) and Sandra Akinbolu (Lamb Building)
  • Monday 9th December 2019 –  Permission applications and responses – Eric Metcalfe and Khatija Hafesji (Monckton Chambers)
  • Thursday 19th December 2019 – The substantive hearing – Martin Westgate QC (Doughty Street Chambers) and Leonie Hirst (Hirst Chambers)
