This series is intended to be an introductory course, and is ideally suited to pupils, junior public law practitioners, or experienced barristers interested in learning about the procedure and practice of judicial review. It also serves as an update for any procedural developments in the past year.

All seminars will be led by experienced and knowledgeable practitioners.

  • Thursday 1st November 2018 – Preparing a case for judicial review – Zoe Leventhal (*NB: This session only will run from  5.30pm – 6.30pm)
  • Thursday 8th November 2018 – Preliminary procedural issues – Sandra Akinbolu and Eric Fripp
  • Wednesday 14th November 2018 –  Permission applications and responses – Eric Metcalfe
  • Thursday 22nd November 2018 – The substantive hearing – Caoilfhionn Gallagher QC
