Celebrating Excellence at the ALBA Mooting Competition Finals
The Administrative Law Bar Association (ALBA) Mooting Competition reached its conclusion on Thursday, 12 December, with the finals taking place in the Supreme Court. Out of an impressive 68 initial entrants, six talented teams advanced to the final stage, showcasing their exceptional skills in advocacy and legal reasoning.
A Warm Welcome and Expert Judging Panel
The evening began with a warm welcome to the Supreme Court and the competition by Lady Rose, who set the tone for an exceptional performance by the participants. ALBA and the competitors deeply grateful for her support and encouragement.
The moot was judged by panel of senior judges who generously gave up their time to support aspiring public law barristers, and ALBA extends its heartfelt thanks to:
- Lord Justice Green
- Christopher Vajda KC
- Mrs Justice Lieven
Additionally, three members of the ALBA committee also acted as judges, lending their expertise to the competition, to whom we are very grateful: Joanne Clement KC, Richard Honey KC, and George Peretz KC.
