The ICCA is the educational and training arm of the Council of the Inns of Court. They are seeking to fill two vital
positions on their Board of Governors.
Chair of Governors
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable understanding and considerable experience of advocacy and
advocacy training. The Chair will provide visible leadership and ensure that the Governors take effective oversight of
the ICCA’s wide variety of work, including governance of the new Bar Course.
Vice Chair (SBAs)
The Vice Chair (SBAs) will have responsibility for ensuring that the knowledge, skills and expertise of the Specialist Bar
Associations are integral to the work of the ICCA. Vice Chairs, where necessary, deputise for the Chair.
The Chair and Vice Chair will be practising members of the Bar, save where it is considered that another individual is
the best person for the role.
