Advocate are launching their #ProBono35 campaign today, aimed at encouraging barristers to donate £35 when renewing their practising certificate on the MyBar portal.
The impact of your donation is vital because it makes up nearly 50% of their funding. Last year, through their core casework alone, they helped 2 in 3 people whose cases were accepted by their reviewing panel, placing over 1,100 pieces of pro bono work. Thanks to donations from this initiative, they could reunite families, compensate victims of unfair dismissal, secure asylum for victims of modern slavery, reclaim lost benefits and tackle many more injustices.
