DESCRIPTION:ALBA is pleased to host an online seminar exploring this import
 ant topic.\n\nThis webinar will involve a panel discussion regarding some 
 of the life challenges faced by practitioners at the Bar – whether it is
  the demands of children\, caring responsibilities for elderly parents or 
 loved ones\, or one’s own health challenges.  The webinar will consider
  how to juggle these life challenges with your practice at the public law 
 Bar.\n\nThe discussion will be facilitated by Anneli Howard KC of Monckton
  Chambers.  Anneli will be joined by clinical psychologist Ann Feitelberg
  and Nikki Alderson\, professional coach and former barrister.\n\nAnn Fei
 telberg PhD (C Psych) is a London-based clinical psychologist with a broad
  clinical and research background. In private practice\, she supports adul
 ts\, including barristers\, with mental health\, career\, and relationship
  concerns such as anxiety\, depression\, addictions\, work-related stress 
 and managing silk application pressures. She uses evidence-based approache
 s\, tailoring therapy to each client’s goals and circumstances.\n\nNikki
  Alderson was a criminal barrister for 19 years and has\, since 2018\, wor
 ked as a coach and trainer specialising in women’s leadership developmen
 t\, talent retention and return-to-work\, for both the Bar and solicitors.
   Nikki supports female barristers\, especially career-break returners\, 
 in their career progression.\n\nThis session will take place via Zoom and 
 is available to ALBA members only.  Booking will close at 6pm on 14 June.
  The Zoom link will not be sent out until booking has formally closed.\n\n
 This webinar will not be recorded\, so that participants can speak freely.
