DESCRIPTION:This series (held via Zoom) is intended to be an introductory c
 ourse\, and is ideally suited to pupils\, junior public law practitioners\
 , or experienced barristers interested in learning about the procedure and
  practice of judicial review. It also serves as an update for any procedur
 al developments in the past year.\n\nEach webinar will be chaired by Kathe
 rine Barnes (39 Essex Chambers) and led by experienced and knowledgeable p
 ublic practitioners as set out below.\n\n 	Tuesday 18 October 2022– Pr

 an (39 Essex Chambers)\n 	Wednesday 2 November 2022 – The permission d
 ecision – Jessica Boyd KC (Blackstone Chambers) and Daniel Cashman (Blac
 kstone Chambers)\n 	Wednesday 7 December 2022 –  The substantive heari
 ng – Steve Broach (39 Essex Chambers) and Alice Irving (Doughty Street C
 hambers)\n\nThese sessions are free but are for ALBA Members and Pupils/Tr
 ainees only. You will be required to request a place to attend. If you are
  a pupil/trainee and not a member of ALBA\, please indicate this clearly i
 n the comments section. Each confirmed booking will cover all three sessio
 ns. The Zoom link for each session will be sent out the evening prior to t
 he respective webinar.\n\nPlease note that booking will close on Monday 17
  October 2022 at 6pm to allow time to organize the Zoom links\, so please 
 request your place (whichever sessions you plan to attend) before then.\n\
 nPlease also note that the course has been restructured this year. Attende
 es will need to download the reading list (approximately 1 to 1.5 hours pe
