 \, Litigation Director\, American Civil Liberties Union (“ACLU”) will 
 join us in London from the United States to deliver “Defending Liberty i
 n the Age of Donald Trump’: Lessons from the Front Line” (Hogan Lovell
 s International LLP\, 6pm\, for 6.30pm).   Martha Spurrier\, Director\, 
 Liberty has kindly agreed to provide a reply and lead a discussion with th
 e audience.  The evening will end with a reception\, kindly hosted by Hog
 an Lovells.   \n\nUnder David’s direction\, ACLU is pursuing strategic
  legal challenges against the worst excesses of the current administration
  in the US.  The discussion will provide a fascinating insight into the r
 ole of the US Supreme Court in the American constitutional settlement and 
 may highlight lessons to be learned for judges\, practitioners and politic
